Bio
Alexander Walsh is an ocean photographer based in New York City. His seascapes, wave forms, and water textures explore the intimacies and various moods of the ocean. Alex draws upon thirty years of surfing and ocean experience to create striking images which invite his viewers to look at coastal waters in a whole new way.
Artist Statement
The ocean is ever-changing—calm and meditative one moment, powerful and untamed the next. As a photographer, I immerse myself in the water, using specialized equipment to capture these shifting moods from within the waves. My work is a reflection of the deep connection I feel with the sea, translating its movement, energy, and emotion into fine art prints.
Mission
I aim to share the joy and healing I’ve found in the ocean by bringing its presence into the spaces where people live and work— offering a sense of connection, tranquility, and inspiration through my artwork.
